Dear Writer - Stork Swap Edition!

This is like, my tenth exchange? and the first time I've ever written a letter, because my signup for last year's Stork Swap got HUGE and had a lot of repetition. I got very worried that I wasn't adequately expressing "this is a kink thing for me, I want to be very clear, this is horny." (I was definitely adequately expressing that.) But hopefully this letter will be both more detailed and less of a pain to read than last year's signups were!

- So. In general, for me, pregnancy falls into the middle of the Venn diagram of body horror and physical comedy where most of my kinks hang out. So I really like mpreg in universes where mpreg does NOT usually happen and this cis dude never thought it could possibly happen to him, and it's very confusing and alarming and foreign and embarrassing.
- Magically-induced mpreg, especially if that magic was triggered/used accidentally by the guy getting pregnant or his partner who didn't know what it would do
- Trying to hide pregnancy
- Morning sickness
- Mood swings
- Cravings
- Breast growth and soreness
- Weight gain/hips widening/other body changes
- Waddling
- Wardrobe malfunctions or other inconveniences from belly/chest/etc. getting bigger
- Pregnant character's partner trying to dote on them, prepare for birth and parenthood, etc. and stressing themselves out a lot
- Pregnancy leading to "with-benefits" characters officially getting together, helping clarify complicated feelings for each other, or leading to drama between the pregnant character and whoever knocked him up
Mia Fey/Pregnant Diego Armando and Maya Fey/Pregnant Phoenix Wright
Fey woman of your choice inadvertently gets her boyfriend pregnant through Kurain Plot Device Magic! Maybe it's impossible or highly dangerous for spirit mediums to carry children because of their bodies' sensitivity to spirits, so there's a ritual to offload the pregnancy onto another person? It doesn't have to really make sense, I just want to see Diego or Phoenix dealing with it, and probably having a bad time, while Mia or Maya tries to make it a little less terrible!
I nominated "Mpreg-induced crisis of masculinity" with Diego specifically in mind... if that tells you where my head was at with this one, lol. I love Diego, I don't think he's a horrible misogynist or anything, but he's fun to emasculate. >:)
Given the circumstances for this prompt especially, it's totally fine if characters talk about potentially having an abortion, just DNW actually going through with it.

Mikotoba/Pregnant Sholmes and Ryuunosuke/Pregnant Sholmes
Sholmes is such a prime candidate for weird kink shit to happen to, because he's either dramatic as hell or in complete denial about things, and sometimes he just alternates between the two. Whether Mikotoba or Ryuunosuke (or neither) got him pregnant somehow, it would be fun to see either or both of them trying to manage Sholmes as he is an absolute menace to himself, his unborn child, and the people around him.
Ideas: Mikotoba realizing something's up and doing checkups since Sholmes is too stubborn to go to a doctor, Ryunosuke/Yuujin/Susato/Iris trying to stop him from eating whatever inedible material or science experiment he's craving today, any of them trying to help him on investigations when he's too far along to do it on his own but still refuses to rest
Franziska/Pregnant Gumshoe and Edgeworth/Pregnant Gumshoe
GET GUMSHOE PREGNANT! HE DESERVES IT!
Idk man there's something about the unexpectedness of it, and how Gumshoe would be a great dad and probably super excited to bring a kid into the world with his partner... it's sweet, okay? It gets me. And it's funny. Because if we're getting cis men pregnant anyway, why NOT one who's six feet tall and built like a brick shithouse? What's so crazy about that, huh?!

Ideas: I think Gumshoe should be kinda sad that no one's asked to touch his belly... because no one knows he's pregnant, he just kinda looks like he let himself go.
Going through baby names, as well as what last name the baby's going to get, which in Franziska's case might be kinda fraught! In Edgeworth's case, I can see Gumshoe deciding immediately that the baby's gonna be an Edgeworth, and assuming the decision was so obvious that it doesn't even bear mentioning, and when Edgeworth finally finds out he gets VERY emotional about it.
With both Edgeworth and Franziska, I just love the idea of them trying and struggling to be all nurturing parent-mode. Or trying to be a doting partner to Gumshoe, to anticipate what will make things a little easier for him, when it's usually the other way around! It's sweet, especially if it's kind of clumsy and doesn't work all that well at first.
